There is a strong move in the military market today. On the one hand the demands regarding
reliability, robustness and availability are very high, while on the other hand
one wants to reduce costs. This gives a large interest in
commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) ready-to-use products. ARVOO responses to this
movement with its strongly viable concept of ‘technology demonstrator‘. On the
basis of state-of-the-art realized designs, we quickly can deliver a price-competitive
high-valued product meeting the custom specifications and that are military
qualified and certified.
One example is the Tanker Remote Vision System (TRVS) that ARVOO has developed together
with the institute TNO Defence, Security and Safety for the Royal Netherlands
Air Force. This is a worldwide unique system with the extreme good performance
for in-flight aerial refueling of aircrafts.
For helmet displays ARVOO is offering compact and low-power electronics. As part of the visualization image enhancement or sensor fusion can be implemented.
ARVOO has developed a robust video recorder for High Definition digital video on the basis of our own video compression IP. This is meant to be used for video logging or recording for various purposes. Next to storing the compressed video, it can be transmitted in various resolutions via encrypted wired or wireless connections. This makes it suitable for a broad range of observation, surveillance and intelligence tasks.
