As a next core competence we mention the design and development of
complex digital and analog electronics. Our hardware
engineers are closely familiar with the latest communication processors,
graphical processors, digital signal processors, FPGAs, CPLDs and specific
ASICs. They are well aware of their
capabilities and know how to best combine them.
With our Mentor Graphics workstations we design printed circuit boards up to 20 layers according to industrial, military and medical requirements. A third core competence is both the design and realization of reliable,
robust and user-friendly software and firmware,
to run on our electronics. The software (for processors in general) and
firmware (for specific processors and programmable logic) are designed and
maintained according to high standards, including intensive tests and
simulations.
The software department develops own IP (intellectual property) for various algorithms and applications. Our focus is on functionality that the client naturally wants to use in a straightforward way, like image compression, image fusion or augmented visualizations. As the software is targeted at our own product we can guarantee the highest performance and an optimal exploitation of the hardware.
In addition we assist the customer in their software development on our hardware.
Moreover, we offer to port the existing software programs, or to provide assistance with
this.
